I must not tell lies: from the shrivelled heart of Umbridge to the (hopefully) open hearts of our mission comes our first rule. Lying would obliterate trust like a tree falling on a cone of neapolitan ice cream: smashed, erased, gone forever. You must tell the truth to tell the news. Ignorance is not lying, but it is not an excuse either. If you can’t say something true, then leave it out.
Keep up your contributions: every other week might seem a large commitment but you all committed to this and you only have to write small pieces so be reliable! We all know where we all live (except sometimes Seb).
Have fun! Let’s entertain each other. This should be a fun, easy, nice thing, not stressful or mean. Use it to express yourself when you need to and don’t be afraid of anyone else’s judgement.
Don’t judge! Yes, if a situation seems genuinely dangerous then address it, but otherwise -- this paper should be JUDGEMENT FREE ZONE.
No sludge, don’t judge
Don’t budge, don’t judge
We’ll hit you with a bludgeon if you start judgin
Confidentiality -- these are pen names, not our real names. Our lives are our own; we’re just choosing to share snippets with each other and the public. Therefore, we will write and refer to each other with pen names.
Unconditional love.
