To the Esteemed Contributors of The Life Weekly,
I am writing to inform you all of my resignation. It has been an honor participating in so lofty and groundbreaking a project as this. I enjoyed trying my hand in a more creative literary circle than the ones I am accustomed to. Thank you for trusting me to share the page alongside your stories and poetry, letters and postcards. I hope you enjoyed my meager contributions as much I as enjoyed writing them.
I am sorry to say that I am resigning from my job as contributor to the paper. I feel that the time is right to step down as there seems to be nothing more I can contribute to this fine creation. I would be doing more harm that I would good if I continued to stay.
Thank you again for the chance to write, to discover, to enjoy, and for the opportunity to live in a different way for a time. I will never forget it.
Sincerely,
E. Brown.
